The Woodlands Car Club was founded on March 1, 2001. It was formed by a local group of car enthusiasts to create friendship, fellowship, and a way to be able to give back to the community. Each year the club donates proceeds from our car shows to local non-profit organizations in the Montgomery County area. Over the past seven years we have donated over $33,000 to local non-profit organizations in our area.
The Woodlands Car Club - Cars & Coffee for a Cause!
The Woodlands Car Club will be meeting at Market Street - The Woodlands, the first Sunday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon, in between Jasper's and Cinemark Market Street movie theatre, to continue efforts to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community. TWCC began it's morning coffee & cars meet while celebrating their 8-year anniversary, the first Sunday in March of this year, and will continue to meet at Market Street as long as the weather is nice, and that no Market Street events conflict with the meets. TWCC has collected just over $100 in change already, and at the end of the year the club will match what funds are raised at the Sunday meets and make the donation to the program.
The purpose behind the meets is to provide a morning gathering to show off our special vehicles within the car club and the local community, share information about needful non-profit organizations in Montgomery County, and to give back monetarily as well. TWCC will be collecting coins/change for our donation to the Market Street “Change for Charities” program that will benefit non-profit organizations in Montgomery County. The four recipients for 2009 are: American Cancer Society Relay for Life - Montgomery County, Habitat for Humanity Montgomery County, Montgomery County Food Bank, and Children's Safe Harbor.
The Woodlands Car Club was founded in March, 2001 by a local group of car enthusiasts to create friendships, fellowship, foster relationships with local business and community, create awareness for and give back to local non-profit organizations in Montgomery County. We are just a small group of volunteers, but we are very dedicated and enthusiastic about our cause.
Enthusiasts who are interested in parking with us will be asked to sign-in, donate some change, and of course, have a good time. For more information about TWCC Cars & Coffee, or The Woodlands Car Club in general, please call 281.363.2977.
*Please Note: Members will receive an e-mail outlining specific criteria on how to obtain membership discounts.*
